Facebook mobile has been screwing up this evening and posting my photo comments to other random photos. A friend of mine posted a photo of her topless jeep. I commented “Sexy!”… and it ended up on a photo of her grandfather… How embarrassing!…
There’s been a campaign on Facebook to: “Change your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until Monday (Dec. 6), there should be no human faces on Facebook, but an invasion of memories. A campaign to prevent child abuse, facebook folks!”
I usually don’t like these types of campaigns, but I enjoyed seeing all these cartoons character from the past.
Here are screenshots of a few of my friend’s profile pics:
My niece posted a pic of Pepper Ann as her profile pics. I’ve never heard of this cartoon, but it reminded me of Fido Dido (which she never heard of). I use to have a Fido Dido watch in college. (Hmm, I wonder if I still have it somewhere). Well, I did a search on Wikipedia and discovered that both Pepper Ann and Fido Dido are created (or co-created) by Sue Rose.
11:15am It’s weird how I now get breaking news via Twitter & Facebook. Like the 8.8 earthquake in Chile and Tsunami warning throughout the Pacific. #
|$5?… Hey, that’s enough for 8 pieces of legs and thighs at Popeye’s on Tuesdays…
Last night, I was trying to figure out how to update my Twitter automatically when I update my Facebook status. I found a couple of methods, but they no longer worked because Facebook keeps changing the URL for your own status RSS feeds, which you can feed into TwitterFeed to update your Tweets.
I couldn’t figure it out, so I found another method which will do the opposite: automatically update my Facebook status with my lastest Tweet… It’s a Facebook app called Twitter by Twitter… so I guess that’ll work for now, although I wish I can figure the other way around.
Anyways, I guess I will start Tweeting more now. You can follow me at this link.
