A few days ago, I saw a friend Meighan’s photo of Mango Mochi that she made. I searched online for recipes and saw a bunch of recipes for Red Bean Mochi… which gave me an idea to use a Mung Bean filling (like in Hopia) instead of the Red Bean. So I set out to try to make my version of Mung Bean Mochi.
The tray of winter greens that I planted back in November have grown and I can now tell what is what… (My great-niece tripped over them and mixed them all up.)
Just added Hellebores (Lenten Rose) to my wish list. My Mom saw these in a garden magazine & asked me if they sold them here. I didn’t know.
- 16:17 I want to make mochi and the recipe calls for wheat starch, but I can’t find any. Anyone know if I can substitute potato or corn starch? #
