Photos from the Garden

I love my new Canon PowerShot A610 camera, because it can take much better macros than my old Canon PowerShot SD100. I can shoot as close as 1cm. Below are some photos I took earlier today.

Our dog Kelly likes to watch me photograph plants. Unfortunately, she also steps on them.

My co-worker Ed gave me this carnation, because it didn’t look like it would survive in our office. I planted it in the garden and it’s blooming again.
